Sanka connects with Claude through Claude Code. To use Sanka from Claude Code, add Sanka Plugin and authorize access to your Sanka workspace.

Preparation

  • A Sanka account
  • Access to the Sanka workspace you want to connect
  • The Claude macOS / Windows app
  • Ability to sign in to Sanka in a browser
  • Sanka Plugin URL: https://github.com/sankaHQ/sanka-plugin.git

Open Add marketplace

  1. Open the Claude app.
  2. Open Settings or Customize.
  3. Select Connectors in the sidebar.
  4. Open Add marketplace from the connector add menu.

Paste the URL

Paste the Sanka Plugin URL into the Add marketplace URL field.

Click Sync or the add action. When Sanka Plugin appears, start the connection from Claude.

Sign in and authorize

When the connection starts, a Sanka authorization page opens in your browser.

  1. Sign in to Sanka.
  2. Choose the workspace to connect.
  3. Authorize Claude to use Sanka Plugin.
  4. Return to the Claude app after authorization completes.

Confirm the connection

Back in Claude, start with a read-focused prompt:

/sanka Use Sanka Plugin to show the 10 most recently created companies.
For business actions, ask Claude to inspect and summarize first, then run the action after you confirm.

/sanka Check Acme's deal and summarize what is needed to create an estimate. Do not create it yet.
For CSV imports, start with mapping and duplicate review:

First inspect Company properties, propose CSV column mappings, decide whether this should create or update records, and flag likely duplicate companies.
Do not run the import yet.

Switch workspaces

If you have access to multiple Sanka workspaces, ask Claude to switch workspaces in plain language. You do not need to add Sanka Plugin again or repeat OAuth for each workspace.

After switching, company, deal, expense, and other results come from the new workspace.

Uninstall Sanka

To remove Sanka from Claude, delete or disconnect Sanka Plugin from Claude Connectors.
  1. Open Connectors in the Claude app.
  2. Select Sanka Plugin.
  3. Click the remove or disconnect action.
  4. Confirm the removal.
After removal, Claude can no longer call Sanka data or actions. To use Sanka again, add Sanka Plugin from this guide and connect with OAuth again.

Troubleshooting

  • If Add marketplace does not sync, confirm the URL matches the value in Preparation.
  • If Sanka Plugin does not appear, restart Claude and reopen Connectors.
  • If the authorization page does not open, click Connect on Sanka Plugin again.
  • If the connector does not stay connected after authorization, remove Sanka Plugin from Claude Connectors and add it again.
  • If you cannot choose the target Sanka workspace, ask a workspace administrator to check your access.
