Use Sakura

Open Sakura from your workspace and ask it to inspect records, prepare drafts, and run approved workflows.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Sakura is the AI employee connected to your Sanka data and workflows. Use it to inspect workspace data, prepare drafts, check approvals, and run workflows with the permissions of the signed-in Sanka user.

Preparation

  • A Sanka account
  • Access to the Sanka workspace you want to use
  • Permission for the records or workflows you want Sakura to inspect
  • Available Sanka Credit for AI usage
If you cannot open a workspace or see the records you need, ask a workspace administrator to check your user role first.

Open Sakura

  1. Sign in to Sanka.
  2. Open the workspace you want to use.
  3. Click Sakura in the top bar.
  4. Type your request in the Sakura panel.
Sakura uses the workspace you currently have open. If you work across multiple workspaces, switch to the correct workspace before asking it to read or update data.

Confirm the connection

Start with a read-focused request so you can confirm that Sakura can access the expected workspace data.
Sample prompt
Show the 10 most recently created companies and include their creation dates.
You can also ask it to summarize a specific record before taking action.
Sample prompt
Check Acme's latest deal and summarize the customer, amount, close date, and missing information. Do not create or update anything yet.

Review before actions

For business actions, ask Sakura to inspect and prepare first. Create, send, approve, archive, or sync only after you have checked the result.
Sample prompt
Prepare an invoice draft for the approved order from Acme. Show the customer, line items, tax, due date, and total before creating it.
When Sakura needs confirmation, follow the confirmation shown in the conversation. Sakura follows the same permissions, approvals, and workflow rules as the Sanka app.

Review usage

Sakura usage is charged from Sanka Credit. Workspace administrators can review recent AI activity from WorkspacePlan & Billing.Check the usage list when you need to understand which surface created a charge, how many tokens were used, or whether a Slack or email message used Sakura.

Troubleshooting

  • If Sakura does not open, refresh Sanka and sign in again.
  • If Sakura cannot see a record, confirm that your Sanka user has access to that object and workspace.
  • If a request stops before completing, ask Sakura to summarize what it checked and what is still missing.
  • If a workspace has no Sanka Credit, recharge the workspace balance from Plan & Billing.
  • If an action requires approval, complete the approval flow shown by Sanka instead of bypassing it in chat.
