Get Started with Sanka in Claude Code

Connect Sanka in Claude Code and start safe, read-focused CRM workflows.

This guide walks you through asking Claude Code to add Sanka Plugin for you, then validating your first CRM lookups. You do not need to memorize technical commands.

Preparation

Sanka account access to your workspace
Claude Code installed and signed in
Access to the Claude Code chat

Ask Claude

In the Claude Code chat, ask:

I want to use Sanka. Please add Sanka Plugin from the GitHub repo sankaHQ/sanka-plugin and set it up so I can start using it.

If Claude asks for confirmation during setup, follow the prompts. Depending on the environment, Claude may ask you to approve an install step or refresh plugins.

When Claude guides you through the setup:

Approve any plugin add or install confirmations
Sign in to Sanka when the browser opens
Choose the workspace you want to connect and approve access
Return to Claude Code and ask it to confirm the connection

If the setup stops partway through, ask Claude: "Please check the Sanka Plugin install status and continue the remaining steps."

Run your first checks

Try prompts like:

Send the request in normal chat. Do not start it with a slash command such as /sanka show me the 10 most recent companies.

"Use Sanka Plugin to check whether OpenAI exists in Sanka."
"Use Sanka Plugin to find contacts at Acme Inc."
"Use Sanka Plugin to list contacts with email domain example.com."

Start with a small dataset before rolling out to the full sales team.
